Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans while ensuring patient safety and delivering accurate diagnostic evaluations. The position requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology. Duties

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure the proper use of equipment and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss scan results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risks.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to scans performed.
• Stay current with advancements in CT technology and best practices in diagnostic radiology.
• Provide support in urgent care situations, responding promptly to patient needs.
• Educate patients regarding the scanning process and address any concerns they may have.

Skills

• Proficient in operating CT imaging equipment and performing scans.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and practices.
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures is a plus.
• Understanding of human physiology and medical terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in imaging results and patient care.

Requirements

Required Minimum Education

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
• Less than 1 year experience in CT Preferred

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)

• ARRT Radiography Required
• ARRT Computed Tomography Required
• Basic Life Support Required
