Employee Benefits Producer
We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling and servicing employee benefits packages to new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new business by networking, cold calling, and building client relationships
* Consult with clients to assess their benefits needs and goals
* Design comprehensive benefits packages including health insurance, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, and more
* Prepare proposals and presentations detailing coverages, options, and pricing
* Manage renewal processes, upselling additional products when appropriate
* Ensure compliance with regulations around benefits plans and enrollment
* Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors
* Service existing accounts by addressing questions and resolving issues
* Continually assess client needs and insurance market conditions to identify growth opportunities
Requirements:
* 3+ years experience selling group benefits plans
* Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and retain existing relationships
* Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation abilities
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* In-depth knowledge of benefits offerings, regulations, and marketplace
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team
* Creative thinker passionate about designing optimal benefits packages
* Life and Health insurance license
