About the Position
Are you ready to take on a critical role in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a dedicated Stock Surveillance Analytical Researcher to join our team in New York City. In this position, you'll work closely with experienced Stock Market Analysts to analyze equity markets and client companies' stock trading and ownership data. Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Analytical Researcher, your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the Stock Market Analyst team to produce detailed reports on stock ownership changes and market activities.
- Analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover valuable insights.
- Importing and summarizing client shareholder and settlement data.
- Analyzing investor buying and selling activities to support client investor relations initiatives.
- Creating research updates, analytical reports, and client presentations.

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the stock market and financial instruments.
- Knowledge of stock valuation methods.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- U.S. employment authorization without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with platforms/languages such as Tableau, VBA, SQL, or Python.
- Relevant internship or academic experience in the finance industry.
- Familiarity with financial data sources like Bloomberg and FactSet.
- CFA charter or enrollment in the CFA program is a plus.
- Understanding of options trading and technical analysis.

Compensation
